Welcome to Learning Leapers, my name is Jayde, I am the creator behind the website. I currently run a home tutoring business for primary educated children. I’ve always been passionate about helping children build confidence with their learning.
My Education
From a very young age myself, I struggled at school because my eyesight wasn’t great and we didn’t detect this until later on, so for a while I couldn’t always see the board at the back of the classroom, which led to me being behind once we finally detected it. I didn’t get the extra attention I needed in order to catch up to the rest of the class. That is one of the main reasons why I decided to start up my own tutoring business, to help those children who do need that extra bit of support with catching up so they can excel and achieve greatness too just like everyone else. Why I Am A Tutor
I believe strongly that every child could benefit from 1-1 personal tutoring because it helps bring out there confidence in area’s which they might not feel is there strong point, until the focus is on them and then they realize they are capable of a lot more than they thought they were. This automatically stimulates a positive feeling towards learning and education. Sometimes at school there can be a lot of different things going on at once, such as; a disturbance in the classroom, an argument in a friendship group or in some extreme cases bullying, when the focus is not on what the teaching is saying at the front of the class. The class teacher can’t make sure that every child has understood the lesson and is ready to move on, so most of the time quite a lot of children fall behind and that topic is never touched on again.
