Learning Leapers Free Worksheets
Here are some worksheets I made myself, all based on different sound blends. You can access them all on the list that I’ve attached at the bottom.
IGH or IE sound.
These two letter combinations sound the same when you read them out loud, so the best way to find the difference is to remember that usually words ending in ‘IE’ are three letter words like; LIE, TIE, PIE. Longer words include IGH like; sigh, light and right.
Have a go at answering these riddles.
⦁ My kite flew _ _ _ _ in the sky.
⦁ Opposite of day. _ _ _ _ _ .
⦁ Don’t turn left, turn _ _ _ _ _ .
⦁ Something you turn on to see. _ _ _ _ _ .
⦁ Can I have a slice of your _ _ _ .
⦁ My _ _ _ is too _ _ _ _ _ .
⦁ The spider gave me a _ _ _ _ _ _ .
